MCShield is a simple-to-use program that allows you to protect your USB flash drives against malware, by identifying and quarantining any malicious agents. It targets all types of users, regardless of their level of experience. After a brief installation procedure, you can check out a standard window with a well-defined layout, representing MCShield's interface. So, you can make the app scan all flash drives, memory cards and hard disk drives at startup, perform an in-depth signature scan only in case of infection, as well as enable extended heuristics. In addition, you can enable paranoid and interactive modes, always show items on the flash drive, make the tool delete all suspicious files automatically, view a list of quarantined objects, as well as create a whitelist. MCShield can be set to automatically run at system startup, and you can allow MCS Cloud functions and hide notifications about drive cleaning, among others. The program offers multilingual support, has a good response time and runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. No error dialogs have been shown throughout our evaluation and the app did not hang or crash; we haven't encountered any issues. Some steal your passcodes from your clipboard and send them to your email address. They write them to disk too and you can’t delete them. MCShield has an easy to use interface. It has a great filtering system for encrypted files. It gives you the option to quarantine files with or without key files. It will even display your passcode in the quarantine list. It’s a very small program. It installs in seconds and I didn’t see anything else running in the background. It’s very easy to use. But it’s a little hard to explain to anyone that doesn’t know a lot about technology. MCShield doesn’t completely protect you. It just protects your data. It doesn’t remove programs that can steal your passcodes. I’ve found a lot of issues with some of the virus scanners in the past. For example: I had a virus that used one of the strongest viruses on the market to steal my passwords. When I was cleaning the virus from my computer it deleted my files and my homepage was no longer displayed
